Recently, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America released a press release entitled, “Cancer Treatment Centers of America Partners with Allscripts and NantHealth to Launch Clinical Pathways, a Comprehensive and Custom Oncology Treatment Platform”. This press release was primarily about them collaborating with the companies NantHealth and Allscripts in order to offer better treatment to their patients.
They also talk about Eviti clinical trials and the Clinical Pathways program.
Together, the companies mentioned and Cancer Treatment Centers of America are coming together in order to create the best individual plans for treatment. They talk about custom oncology plans, clinical data support, better electronic health record systems, up-to-date guidelines for drug reactions, real-time functionality, and more. Their plan is to help each patient improve their quality of life by improving the quality of their individual treatment plans.
The Cancer Treatment Centers of America were founded in 1988.
Since that time, they have offered a superb quality of care to thousands of patients. Their main office is located out of Boca Raton, Florida. Formerly their headquarters was located in Schaumburg, Illinois. Currently, they have five hospitals in Illinois, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia. This doesn’t include their treatment center in Mexico City, which is their only one away from the United States.
The first treatment center was opened by Richard J Stephenson. Richard had lost his own mother to cancer and was also dissatisfied with her care and lack of treatment options. Therefore, he founded Cancer Treatment Centers of America and opened the first one in Zion, Illinois.
