Recently, they purchased a former Tyson Foods plant in Chicago Illinois after Tyson announced it would be closing the plant to the cost around 480 jobs. At closing it was thought that around 240 employees of Tyson remained, many of whom were offered employment with OSI. The 200,000-square-foot facility allows the group to expand and assist in supporting the infrastructure and growth of the company’s large roster of clients and provide for their extensive and evolving needs. It is the second facility in the Chicago area, adding to the impressive list of facilities in areas such as Geneva and Aurora Illinois, Riverside, California, and West Jordan, Utah.
